The Starboard Velocity paddle is designed to be ultra-efficient for smooth paddling. A thin blade profile allows for minimal water disturbance at the catch of your stroke, and the innovative winglet design reduces turbulence around the wingtips. This results in a zero-flutter paddle stroke with improved efficiency and less strain on your body.
Paddlers will enjoy the Velocity across a range of paddling disciplines; distance race competitors will enjoy a less impactful blade design, while ocean paddlers will achieve a smoother catch and less drag in already turbulent water conditions; and intermediate, recreational paddlers will enjoy the smooth, flutter free sensation of the paddle.
The high aspect blade ratio with a less impactful blade design works best over longer durations and maintains higher speeds more easily.

The double concave design gives the paddle stability, tracking and an even power spread across the blade surface. This allows you to have even power throughout your stroke while reducing splash on entry and exit.
The Winglet design is inspired by our findings in foiling. The winglets border the blade and create less turbulence. This helps the paddle to pull smoother through the water with less flutter.
The blade tip is thin and flat, resulting in the cleanest entry and exit in the water and less impact on your body.
The 14-degree angle gives you a longer reach on each stroke – allowing for a longer stroke and smoother paddling.

The handle is designed to provide a powerful grip, making it ideal for any type of racing, whether long-distance or sprint. The flat top and wide grip create powerful leverage for the whole paddle and the blade. You can steer the paddle at slight angles and remain at full power.
