Description

The Fanatic Ray Air SLT Package is an inflatable touring SUP that has sleek lines and immense glide, making it the ideal partner for exploring miles of coastline, lakes, channels or rivers.

It’s generous volume and maximised waterline combine stability and straight-line performance, while the optimised thickness offers great rigidity for effortless paddling. The Ray delivers the ultimate touring experience – from beginner to experienced paddler!

The two sizes of 11’6” and 12’6” are fast, very easy to paddle and to keep your balance on, even if you’re a first timer.

Construction:

Instead of the industry-standard knitted material, Fanatic have switched to woven drop-stitch material for all their boards. This material is 20% lighter but still even stiffer. Just as importantly, the woven material is much easier and more compact to roll. All panels are connected through welding now instead of glue. This not only means a significant improvement in durability, but also a considerable weight saving due to the elimination of the heavy adhesive.

Finally, even the EVA deckpad has been optimized. The additional split in the middle further reduces the weight and ensures an even more compact roll-up. The end result is truly stunning, as SLT boards are probably the lightest and most compact iSUPs on the market (up to 20% lighter than their predecessors with a packing volume reduced by around 40%).

This complete SUP package comes with everything you need including a Paddle, coiled leash and pump.

Gearbag Pocket:

The massive weight and package volume reduction of our new boards allowed us to complete redesign our bag as a pure backpack style. By eliminating the heavy rollers we have been able to reduce the weight by a whopping 50% or 1,5kg!
