The Core Halo Pro is an uncompromising high-performance wing. Using the highest quality materials and innovative construction, Core were able to redefine boundaries. The airframe's remarkable rigidity, paired with a flat high-speed profile, allows for an unexpectedly sporty riding style. Experience the perfect drift and maximum control, thanks to its low weight and intuitive controls.
This is where the stiffness of the Aluula comes into its own. From take-off to landing, the airframe retains its profile and thus allows not only undreamt-of high-altitude flights, but also enormous hang-time. The latter provides the rider with landings at a noticeably higher speed, so that the foil can fly again immediately.
In waves, the low weight of the Halo Pro unfolds its full potential. Not only does it drift behind its rider in a completely balanced manner, but it also makes it easy to change the leading hand when the course changes. Once the wave has been ridden, the boom allows you to find the right pressure point again without delay and leads you back to the next wave.
The Halo Pro has a slightly flatter profile than the all-rounder XC. On the one hand, this allows significantly more speed to be achieved, which leads to more dynamic take-offs. On the other hand, it gives the Halo Pro an undreamt-of agility that sets no limits to your creativity in all rotations of the wing or even to yourself. Thanks to the lightweight yet stiff Aluula airframe, coupled with the flat profile, the Halo Pro offers an incredibly broad wind range.
Aluula Airframe:
The Halo Pro leverages the core strength of Aluula's high stiffness. This remarkable property, coupled with its lightweight design, allows for thinner strut diameters that maintain their shape even under heavy loads. This lets you pump the Halo Pro more directly, effectively, and gives you an enormous amount of lift and hang time, as well as a maximum direct flight feeling.
Boom:
The continuous boom is the consistent further development of the two handles. The long grip surface makes familiar maneuvers more intuitive and new tricks possible. The EVA flooring guarantees a non-slip grip and comfortable grip. Underneath hides an ultra-light and extremely stiff full carbon construction, which leads to significant weight saving in addition to the two saved connectors.
Core Tex 2:
Elementary for the performance of the Halo Pro is that the elongation in the profile could be reduced to a minimum, especially during peak loads. In the different canopy segments, the CoreTex 2 has been aligned in the optimal running direction to ensure the highest performance. CoreTex 2 boasts exceptional tear resistance and excellent UV protection, making it highly durable.
Carbon Battens:
To ensure the perfect wing profile even at high speeds, the Halo Pro is equipped with three carbon sail battens on each side of its trailing edge. This specific placement is crucial because this area is exposed to particularly high loads, and having a clean outflow behavior is equally important. The sail battens provide optimal profile guidance.
Deflate Valve:
The Halo Pro features a minimalist deflate valve located at the center strut. This allows air to escape from the strut rapidly during dismantling, enabling quick and efficient packing of the Wing. The compact design not only saves significant weight on the wing but also incorporates various other essential details.
Speed Valve:
The Halo Pro valve can be directly connected to the pump hose bayonets, enabling the maximum air flow rate possible. Its exceptionally robust design ensures remarkable durability. When it comes to inflating and deflating a wing, there is no lighter, faster, or more comfortable option available.
The Halo Pro comes with a comfortable shoulderbag, manual and repair-kit.
Core Halo Pro LW:
The Halo Pro LW has a phenomenal low-end and remains surprisingly playful despite its size. Crafted with the finest materials and an innovative design, we’ve redefined the limits.
Additional struts in the tip area allow the profile to be extended from the middle area to the tips. This ensures more pressure and high performance, even in the lightest breeze. Thanks to its comparatively small span and large projected area, the Halo Pro in eight square metres is amazingly easy to manoeuvre and makes a larger board in the quiver virtually superfluous.
