Surfing offers such a diversity of shapes so why not adopt the longboard style for SUP boards? Not only is this the original shape which inspired the first and early SUP boards, but it also offers some noticeable advantages. Length offers both speed and glide especially when combined to a narrower width, and this greatly improves the take-off. The moderate beam also ensures the board is easy to set on the rail, providing a nice acceleration once on the wave.
The rocker of the board has received a lot of attention to make sure the board glides well using her bottom but also remains maneuverable when it’s being steered from the back when surfing.
The F-One Noosa Pro is particularly impressive in its maneuverability and ease of use when you consider its actual length.
The surprising aspect of this shape is that it will let you surf small waves thanks to its genuine speed, but also some larger ones since you can dig the rail and stay in complete control.
Take-off on larger waves is also made easier by its paddling speed. This board has a great gliding feel and will let you perform some nose tricks with its timeless longboard look.

Bamboo Sandwich Technology:
F-One SUP boards benefit from the Bamboo Sandwich Sandwich construction. Every layer of bamboo is sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass or between a layer of carbon.
This allows the sandwich technology to emphasize the characteristics of the bamboo. The final result is a light structure that is super strong and extremely reliable.
Bamboo and Carbon Deck:
On the deck, the board is built using a full layer of carbon fiber over which is laid the bamboo sheet.
Then a final layer of fibreglass is laminated on top, which ensures extreme durability and an amazing light weight.
HD Foam Carbon Composite:
Carbon fibers are laid +45° and -45° onto the board therefore avoiding any fibers at 0° to preserve the flex of the board whilst achieving higher mechanical performances.
This construction improves the weight/resistance ratio of Carbon Series models which clearly feature among the lightest and best performing boards on the market.
Small flat lateral sections in V shapes, allows F-One to reduce the thickness of the rail in certain sections. The other advantage is that they reduce the planing surface of the board which therefore reduces drag.
The combination of a thinner rail and slightly narrower width allows the board to get a better edge into the turns and a tighter arc.
